Elon Musk's artificial intelligence company, xAI, has officially completed its rebranding and is now known as SpaceXAI. The company ceased to operate as a separate legal entity and was fully integrated into the structure of SpaceX. This was announced by the company and Musk on the X social platform.
As part of the rebranding, the company's logo and the name of X's official page were updated. The change is a continuation of the merger that was announced back in May 2026 as part of the consolidation of the assets of xAI and SpaceX.
The restructuring followed SpaceX's historic IPO, which valued the company at nearly $1.77 trillion. The company has recently significantly increased investment in artificial intelligence infrastructure, developing the Colossus supercomputer network and expanding commercial computing services.
The core of SpaceXAI's strategic plans is also the creation of data processing infrastructure in space. The company plans to put into orbit the first specialized satellites for artificial intelligence calculations by 2028, forming so-called "space data centers".
