Outsourcing is different from hiring an individual developer: here you hand over the entire problem, including analysis, design, engineering, QA and deployment. CodeOrigins has worked this way since 2022, providing a fully assembled team with a project manager who is accountable for the outcome, not just for hours logged.
What we need from you is a business goal and one person on your side who can make decisions. Selecting engineers, distributing the work, controlling quality and holding the deadline are our responsibility, not yours.
What you can delegate
An entire project from idea to launch, when your company has no engineering team at all. A single direction, for example the mobile app while your in-house team keeps the web product. Maintenance and further development of a live system whose original developer has moved on. Or an entire IT function: servers, updates, monitoring and technical support. For small and mid-sized companies this is usually faster than building an internal department, which realistically takes months to hire and settle.
Agile, Scrum and reporting
We work in two-week sprints. At the start of each sprint we agree the task list; at the end we demo a working build and update the picture of what remains. The team runs a short daily standup that you are welcome to join. Tasks are tracked in Jira or in whichever system you prefer, so you can see the state of every item at any moment. At the end of each month you receive a report covering work completed, hours spent and the plan for the month ahead.
Outsourcing versus an in-house team
The cost of an in-house developer is not just their salary: add taxes, hardware, software subscriptions, recruitment and onboarding time, holidays and sick days. And one person does not replace a team; you also need a designer, a QA engineer and someone doing DevOps. With outsourcing you pay only for hours actually used, and the team composition shifts with the phase, more design capacity early, more engineering later. When the project ends, the cost simply stops instead of becoming a staffing problem.
Timezone and communication
Yerevan is only two to three hours ahead of Western Europe and eight to nine ahead of the US East Coast, which leaves several overlapping working hours every day. With Russia and Georgia the overlap is effectively complete. We communicate in Armenian, English and Russian. You get a project manager as your single point of contact, so you never have to chase individual engineers. For urgent issues we agree a response time and write it into the contract rather than leaving it to goodwill.

We assign a project manager and the specialists the work requires. Onboarding takes five to ten working days.
Sprint delivery
Two-week sprints with demos, daily standups and a task board open to you throughout.
Reporting and scaling
A monthly report plus the plan for the next phase. You can increase or reduce capacity on a monthly basis.

How is outsourcing different from hiring a dedicated developer?
With a dedicated developer the engineer joins your team and you manage them. With outsourcing we supply a complete team under our own project manager and take responsibility for the final result, the deadline and the quality of the delivery.
How do I keep visibility on progress?
Tasks live in Jira or your own system with full access for you. Every two weeks we demo a working build, and every month you get a report with hours and the plan ahead. You are welcome to join the daily standups whenever you want.
Are the savings against an in-house team real?
Yes, particularly once you count taxes, hardware, recruitment time, holidays and idle periods rather than salary alone. On top of that you pay only for hours actually used, and when the project finishes the cost stops rather than lingering.
What if I want to end the engagement?
The contract ends at the close of the month with no penalty, provided you give at least two weeks notice. We hand over the code, documentation, access credentials and deployment instructions so your team or a new one continues without a pause.
When is the team available?
Core hours are 10:00 to 19:00 Yerevan time, adjusted towards your timezone. With Europe the overlap covers practically the whole working day; with the US East Coast it is a few morning hours, which is enough for daily calls and reviews.
How is our information protected?
We sign an NDA before discussing details. Code stays in your repository and access sits under your control, revocable at any moment. Rights to the code, the database and the intellectual property belong to you throughout the engagement.
