Hire a Web Developer

Get an experienced programmer or a full team without a hiring cycle.

When a project is waiting and hiring takes months, the constraint is usually time rather than budget. CodeOrigins has been supplying web developers to Armenian and international companies since 2022, without the long interview chain and without the risk of carrying a salaried employee once the project is finished.

You get a developer with a company behind them: code review, cover during illness or holidays, and contractual accountability for deadlines. Those three things are exactly what tends to be missing when you hire an individual freelancer directly.

Engagement models

The first option is a dedicated developer working only on your project under a monthly agreement and joining your daily stand-ups. The second is part-time from twenty hours a week, for when the workload is steady but does not justify a full-time seat. The third is a project contract at a fixed price and deadline, for well-specified scopes. The model can change mid-flight: most clients start with one developer and add people once delivery speed rather than budget becomes the limiting factor.

Seniority levels

A middle developer handles clearly specified tasks independently and makes up the core of most teams. A senior is needed when architecture has to be designed, when someone must take over messy inherited code, or when juniors need technical leadership. We only place juniors on projects where a senior reviews their work. At the interview stage you speak with the candidate yourself and approve the choice — nobody is assigned to your project without your agreement.

How fast we can start

If the stack is within our core — PHP, Laravel, Vue.js, JavaScript — we present candidates in three to five working days and the developer actually starts within five to ten days. For narrower specialisations the timeline can stretch to two or three weeks. The first week is always onboarding: reading the codebase, setting up a local environment and shipping small tasks, so that from week two the developer is working at full speed rather than asking basic questions.

Why an agency beats a freelancer

The main risk with a freelancer is not skill but isolation: they get ill, take a better offer, or simply stop replying, and the project is left with nobody who understands the code. With us at least two engineers know every project, the code sits in your own Git repository from day one, work is tracked in a task system, and there is a formal contract covering confidentiality and IP ownership. If the fit is wrong we replace the developer within five working days.

How we work

01

Requirements call

We discuss the tasks, the stack, the level of involvement you need and your target start date.

02

Candidate shortlist

Within three to five days we send two or three matching profiles with real examples of their work.

03

Interview and technical check

You interview the candidate and, if you want, set a test task. The final choice is always yours.

04

Start and ongoing oversight

The developer joins your process while we keep watch on code quality and review standards.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I hire a developer for a short period?

Yes. The usual minimum is one month on full-time or part-time terms, and for a single well-defined task we work on a project contract with no monthly commitment at all. The model is chosen around your actual volume of work.

Do I choose the developer myself?

Yes. We present two or three candidates, you interview them, optionally set a technical task, and make the decision. Nobody starts working on your project without your explicit approval of that specific person.

How do I supervise the work?

The developer joins your task tracker and your Git repository, attends your stand-ups and sends a weekly summary. You see concrete commits every day rather than general statements about progress, which makes drift obvious early.

What if the developer is not a good fit?

Within the first month we replace them within five working days at no extra cost. The replacement ramps up quickly because project context is documented on our side rather than living only in one person's head.

What languages do you work in?

Armenian, English and Russian. With clients abroad we align working hours to your timezone and normally guarantee at least four hours of overlap every working day for calls and quick questions.

Who owns the code that gets written?

You do. Code is written directly into your Git repository from day one, and intellectual property rights are fixed in the contract. We also sign a non-disclosure agreement when the project is not yet public.
