Flutter is Google's framework for building an app for iOS, Android and, where it makes sense, web and desktop from a single codebase written in Dart. It is our default choice on projects where the design is distinctive and has to look exactly the same on both platforms.
What makes Flutter different is that it does not borrow the operating system's components. It draws every pixel with its own rendering engine, which means your brand guidelines get implemented without compromise or platform-specific workarounds.
Why the rendering engine matters
Frameworks that map onto system components are limited by what each platform allows. Flutter draws every button and every transition itself, so non-standard design work, unusual shapes, layered animation, custom charts, is implemented directly instead of being approximated, and it looks the same on iOS and Android. Animations stay smooth because Dart compiles to native machine code. This approach pays off most on products where the interface is a competitive advantage rather than a set of forms, and where a designer would otherwise be constrained by the default component library.
Dart, architecture and development speed
Dart is easy to pick up and strongly typed, which means fewer defects reaching production. During development, hot reload shows a change on the device in a couple of seconds without restarting the app, so polishing design and interaction is dramatically faster than the usual rebuild cycle. We structure projects in layers, separating interface, business logic and data, and manage state with Riverpod or BLoC depending on the scale. Business logic is covered by unit tests and the critical user journeys by integration tests, so refactoring stays safe.
From MVP to full product
Flutter is particularly strong for MVPs. If you need to validate an idea in the market with real users and real payments, a single codebase gets you there in 5–8 weeks for both platforms simultaneously. Importantly, that MVP is not throwaway work: the full product is built on the same codebase rather than restarted from zero. We wire in payments, subscriptions, push notifications, maps and analytics at the MVP stage already, so you have usable data from the first week after launch instead of guessing what to build next.
Backend, web and handover
We build backends on Laravel, or use Firebase with Firestore and Cloud Functions when a product needs real-time sync and the fastest possible start. If you also need a web surface, an admin panel or a partner portal, Flutter can produce it from the same codebase, which keeps one team on one project. At handover you receive the source code, design files, both published store listings, developer account access and a 12-month technical warranty covering any defect we introduced.

How is Flutter different from React Native?
Flutter draws the interface with its own rendering engine, while React Native maps to the system's native components. Flutter is the better fit for distinctive custom design and rich animation; React Native is often better when your team already works in React and can maintain the app.
How long does a Flutter app take to build?
An MVP takes 5–8 weeks for both platforms at once, and a mid-complexity app 10–14 weeks. The single codebase shortens both development and QA, because each screen is written once and tested once rather than twice.
Do Flutter apps perform like native ones?
Dart compiles to native machine code, so there is no interpretation layer at runtime. Animations stay smooth on mid-range hardware too, which matters if a meaningful share of your users are on inexpensive devices rather than current flagships.
Can Flutter also give me a web version?
Yes, from the same codebase. That works well for admin panels and internal tools. For a public marketing site we usually still recommend a conventional website, because search engines index standard HTML pages far more reliably.
Will the design look identical on both platforms?
Yes, and that is one of Flutter's main advantages: your brand guidelines are implemented the same way everywhere. Where it helps users, we can still adapt specific elements, such as navigation or date pickers, to each platform's conventions.
Who owns the code and who maintains it?
The code is entirely yours, fixed in the contract. Flutter is a Google framework with a large developer community, so you can continue with another team at any point. We also offer a monthly support plan covering updates and new features.
