Our iOS engineers have been shipping native apps for the Apple ecosystem since 2022. We build in Swift and SwiftUI, falling back to UIKit where a project has to support older iOS versions or existing code. Every app is designed against the Apple Human Interface Guidelines from the first wireframe.
That is not only about aesthetics. App Store review rejects apps precisely for drifting from those guidelines. We build so the app passes review on the first submission, and we hand it over already live on the store.
Swift, SwiftUI and why it matters
New projects are written in Swift with SwiftUI for the interface. In practice that means less code, faster changes and direct access to whatever Apple ships each September: widgets, Live Activities, Dynamic Island, an Apple Watch companion. Where a project must support older iOS versions or inherits legacy code, we mix UIKit and SwiftUI inside the same app rather than forcing a rewrite. Architecture is MVVM, which keeps business logic covered by unit tests and makes the app maintainable by whoever works on it after us.
Apple ecosystem integrations
iOS users notice the details. We wire in Sign in with Apple, which Apple requires as soon as any other social login is present. We add Apple Pay as the shortest possible checkout, In-App Purchases and subscriptions through StoreKit, push notifications via APNs, Face ID and Touch ID authentication, and HealthKit or MapKit when the product needs them. We pay particular attention to App Tracking Transparency and the privacy nutrition label, because incomplete or inaccurate privacy declarations are now one of the most common causes of App Store rejection.
TestFlight and testing on real devices
The simulator hides real problems. At the end of every sprint we push a build to TestFlight so you and your team install it on your own iPhones the same day, without waiting for a formal handover. Feedback arrives while the app is still being built rather than after it. On our side we test across several generations of iPhone and iPad, on older and current iOS versions, in light and dark mode, with larger accessibility text sizes and on deliberately poor network conditions. This QA pass is always inside the quoted price.
App Store publishing and updates
Publishing is the last step of delivery, not your problem to solve alone. We set up App Store Connect under your company account, produce screenshots in every required size, write a keyword-aware description, complete the privacy and data-collection questionnaires and submit for review. Apple review typically takes one to two days. If a reviewer raises a point, we answer it and ship the fix at no extra cost. After launch, each major iOS release gets a compatibility pass and an update if one is needed.

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does an iOS app take to build?
A straightforward app takes 6–9 weeks and a mid-complexity business app 10–14 weeks. On top of that, App Store review usually takes one to two days provided the app complies with Apple guidelines, which we design for from the start.
What do I need to publish on the App Store?
An Apple Developer Program account registered to your company, which carries an annual fee paid to Apple. Everything else, including screenshots, the store description, the privacy questionnaire and the submission itself, is handled by us as part of the project.
Why Swift rather than a cross-platform framework?
We recommend Swift when the app works closely with the device: camera pipelines, background processing, complex animation, Apple Watch, widgets. Native gives a more reliable result there. If your product is simpler than that, we will tell you honestly and propose the cheaper route.
What is TestFlight and why does it matter to me?
TestFlight is Apple's official channel for distributing pre-release builds. Every sprint your team installs the latest version on their own iPhones and gives feedback while development is still in progress, instead of seeing the app for the first time at handover.
Will the app work on iPad?
If iPad matters to your users we agree that at the start and design a separate layout for the larger screen. Deciding this at kick-off is considerably cheaper than retrofitting iPad support into an app that was designed only for iPhone.
What if Apple rejects the app?
That is on us. We read the rejection, make the required changes and resubmit at no additional charge. Designing against the Human Interface Guidelines and the review guidelines from day one is exactly how we keep this from happening.
